As you know are servers are currently offline till we get a decent host.
We currently of thinking of have 4 channels
channel 1-legit(no hacking)
channel 2-legit(no hacking)
channel 3-legit(no hacking)
channel 4-(Hacking Allowed)-seperate host due to lagging

Are servers might be up this Saturday for a few hours hosted by me.

About the channel 4 hacking, what if the person accidentally entered cc 4 but forgot to switch of the hack? i dun think its fair. its like


2 person were racing against each other to reach who will get lvl 150 first, well, the other guy went into channel 4 and hacked his way to lvl 150 in 1 minute. so its like unfair to other people, see? what if u hire a coder that could make another world just for hacking?

I don't believe you should allow hacking, but it is your choice. Allowing hacking is like having a baby then throwing it out the window, which of course no one in the right mind would ever do. Allowing Hacking is pretty much throwing the server to the hackers. In 1 channel or not, the rule in only being in 1 channel will NOT be enforced by hackers, they will more than likely ignore it and hack all they want. If it was my choice, I'd say no hacking period, or ban. But it's up to you what you want to do.(this has become quite a speech hasn't it?) and btw, Boba, a sepreate world in a private server is the same server with all the same people, but with 3 new character slots. All the people are the same, nobody will change.

actually you can have multiple worlds but you have to edit your mysql in order for it to make the worlds different and not all the same.

and true about hacking but we dont want to lag up the whole server.
so were gonna have a separate host who host those channels so it wouldnt effect other channels.
if any gms see someone hacking other than channel 4 for now it will be resulted in a permanent ban

Thing is: All bans are permanent, unless specified through MySQL by an admin.

I had owned a server and if anyone was seen even just WALK HACKING they were banned on the spot, and my server was up from v49-v60, then I had to shut down to avoid "issues" with nexon =\

if you are gonna make a channel for hacking then
you should make it low rates there
it's unfair for legit players

It is pretty dang unfair.

But, the thing is, Everyone knows there is a hacking channel, and that will be the ONLY PLACE THEY WILL BE, just so they can hack. Why have a hacking channel, knowing that all your players will be on 1 channel and the server will crash from all the hacking?

yeah same with this server we might just open every other week or so to avoid issues with nexon cause i dont know what happens if they find out.

Dude, if it's a v55 server they don't give half a crap anymore. Keep it up as much as possible, so you don't piss off players.

yeah there are thousands of other v55 servers. they must haf shit in their brains if they want to sue each and everyone of these servers.

a host is a computer that hosts the server files. Right now our host is the owner, which leaves us terribly laggy. Once we get a real host we will be out of beta, up and running and feel good about ourselves.

Im thinking about making a naruto/ninja server. i would be using naruto to go off of but still add my own things. im just wondering if i should go through with it or dont waste the time. If i have at least one person say yes then i will follow through with it.
